TSHRM Certification Study Group

To help our members prepare for the exam, TSHRM offers a certification study group .  More information to follow soon!

The groups meet for approximately 12 weeks before the exam period.  See our Calendar of Events to register.

TSHRM will be using Anne Bogardus’ PHR/SPHR: Professional in Human Resources Certification Study Guide (4th Edition) as our primary text.  Other recommended texts are: PHR Professional in Human Resources (2nd Edition) by Cathy Lee Gibson and SPHR Exam Prep; Senior Professional in Human Resources (2nd Edition) by Larry Phillips.  While the books cover similar material, our groups’ discussions will be drawn from the Bogardus text.  All texts are priced at ~$40 individually at Amazon.com.  Please bring your textbook resources with you to the study group sessions.

Certification Study Group Facilitators

We are currently seeking volunteers to facilitate the study sessions. Click here to complete the Facilitator Application. The Certification Chair will contact you to discuss your interest. Thank you for supporting the study group!
