In many companies today, team models that are inefficient and bureaucratic are actually working against overall business success. Well-intentioned leaders may attempt to add the latest tools or techniques as a sign of forward thinking, but organizational transformation is only possible and sustainable when driven by a few non-negotiable processes designed with one goal in mind—to move the business forward.

Shane A. Yount is a nationally recognized author, speaker, and president of Competitive Solutions, Inc.
