Paradox Consulting Partners will be sharing their perspective and facilitating a conversation on kind and equitable organizations. Incorporating kindness and equity into your business and people practices is not always easy, but we believe it is increasingly necessary for organizations to maintain a competitive edge and survive in today’s world. We will share our definition for kindness and equity within a business context and provide practical examples for building a kind and equitable workplace that has a direct impact on business productivity and innovation. Discussion topics include:

  • What makes an organization kind?  Kindness should never be confused with weakness. How can kindness and addressing employees’ needs be linked to your business strategy?
  • What makes an organization equitable?  While attention is often directed at pay equity, how can organizations look at pay and beyond to focus on full Talent Equity.  Equity within an organization does not come from single point in time decisions but in the embedding of equitable philosophies and practices throughout the entire talent life cycle of an employee
  • Opportunities to learn from other local HR leaders with global impact and reach regarding how they are focusing (or want to focus) on driving diversity, equity and kindness throughout their organization

The session will be facilitated by Angelita Becom, MBA, Emma Browning, MBA, and Robin Kegerise, MLRHR, all managing partners of Paradox Consulting Partners, LLC.  Paradox Consulting Partners is a management consulting firm based in the Research Triangle of North Carolina. The team brings decades of national consulting firm experience to enable productive and innovative organizations in the Triangle and beyond.
